Further information
I was born and raised in the borough of Wandsworth, an ethnically and culturally diverse area of London. I am sensitive to issues of difference and I strongly support equality, diversity and inclusion. I have experience working with issues of religion, culture, ethnicity and sexuality and I have worked with clients from all walks of life, through all stages of life. I have a positive attitude to life and work, and I am committed to personal and professional development.
I am a naturally empathic and compassionate person and I believe that building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients is key to the success of our work together. I bring maturity, warmth, humour and a collaborative approach to my work, as well as insight gained from a rigorous, Masters-level training in counselling & psychotherapy and from many years of my own personal therapy. I have more than 3,000 hours of counselling experience with individual clients and a long working history in the healthcare sector, including a background in nursing.
I have a recent enhanced DBS clearance.
